This five-day course teaches you advanced skills for configuring and maintaining a highly available and scalable virtual infrastructure. Through a mix of lecture and hands-on labs, you configure and optimize the VMware vSphere 8 features that build a foundation for a truly scalable infrastructure. You also discuss when and where these features have the greatest effect. Attend this course to deepen your understanding of vSphere and learn how its advanced features and controls can benefit your organization.
What You'll Learn
LO1 Work with the design team to define and document the architecture of large-scale infrastructure solutions
LO2 Translate abstract infrastructure concepts into concrete technical implementations
LO3 Design infrastructure components that meet usage, performance, and security requirements, following established design principles
LO4 Develop innovative prototypes for basic infrastructure components
LO5 Enhance design specifications and prototypes through iterative refinement based on stakeholder feedback
Minimum Entry Requirement
- Attend VMware vSphere: Install, Configure, Manage [V8]
- Equivalent knowledge and administration experience with ESXi and vCenter.
- Experience with working at the command line is highly recommended.
- Minimum post secondary education is required.
- Workplace Literacy and Numeracy Level 5 (WPLN: Speaking, Writing, Listening, Reading, and Numeracy at ESS level 5 or equivalent to Upper Secondary Level of English and Mathematics).
- Trainocate will assess the learner's suitability if they are unable to meet the minimum entry requirements.
