This training primarily focuses on basic and advanced Power BI functionalities, starting with data input and transformation to more complex tasks such as data modelling, creating dashboards, and generating reports. This program also include segments on data literacy to enhance participants' understanding of data structures, analysis, interpretation, and presentation. To handle integration issues, the training offers practical examples and case studies on how Power BI can be successfully integrated with different software and systems.
What You'll Learn
LO1: Apply predictive data modeling methods and statistical computing tools to identify and interpret trends and patterns in data.
LO2 – Identify consistent patterns across different data sets to gain insightful knowledge.
LO3: Extract relevant insights from data to foster continuous improvements and evaluate their influence on organizational strategies and operations.
LO4: Manage the development of interactive data visualizations using industry-standard tools in accordance to organizational procedures.
LO5: Compile data aggregations to develop models that test hypotheses and employ machine learning methods to extract novel insights.
LO6: Construct prototype algorithms and conduct proof of concept tests to determine the significance of patterns for further analysis.
Minimum Entry Requirement
Basic familiarity with computers and software applications.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications "“ particularly Excel.
- Workplace Literacy and Numeracy Level 5 (WPLN: Speaking, Writing, Listening, Reading, and Numeracy at ESS level 5 or equivalent to Upper Secondary Level of English and Mathematics).
- Minimum post-secondary education required.
- Trainocate will assess the learner's suitability if they are unable to meet the minimum entry requirements.
