The Google Ads course is designed to provide learners with the required knowledge and skills to create, manage, and optimise effective Google Ads campaigns to drive targeted traffic and achieve business objectives. The course covers an overview of the Google Ads platform, its features, and its benefits, including learning how to set up a Google Ads account, navigate the dashboard, identify high-impact keywords, and use them to create compelling ad copy that resonates with their target audience. Learners will also learn the different types of Google Ads campaigns, including Search, Display, and Shopping campaigns, how to create and manage each type of campaign, and best practices for optimising campaign performance.
What You'll Learn
Upon completion of this course, trainees should be able to create a structure of a Google Ads account that will achieve marketing objectives, including:
- setting up a Google Ads Search and Display advertising campaign from ground up
- using search and display advertising bidding strategies and set appropriate daily budget and campaign schedules
- constructing successful ads that drive clicks and conversions
- conducting effective and extensive keyword research with Keyword Planner to target relevant audiences
- setting up conversion tracking for measuring performance
- utilising Performance Planner to gauge effectiveness of advertising spend and refine campaign settings as pre-campaign testing
- analysing reports and optimise campaigns to maximise return on investment
Minimum Entry Requirement
- WPLN Level 6
- WSQ Advanced Certificate in Digital Marketing; OR
- Mature candidates (≥ 30 years old with 8 years' work experience in a digital marketing-related field); OR
- Candidates with other qualifications will be considered on a case-by-case basis
