This course equips learners with the competencies to build, lead, and sustain high-performing teams by understanding group dynamics, enhancing communication, and applying performance management strategies. Grounded in the Tuckman Team Development Model (Forming, Storming, Norming, Performing), learners will explore how to guide teams through different stages of development, identify team challenges, and promote collaboration for improved outcomes.
Through experiential learning, guided role-plays, and case-based activities, learners will strengthen their ability to communicate effectively, delegate responsibilities based on team member strengths, manage conflict, and evaluate team performance in alignment with organisational objectives.
It supports workforce upskilling by empowering participants to lead team engagement, apply performance monitoring tools, and drive results collaboratively.
What You'll Learn
In this course, you will gain practical skills and applied knowledge in understanding team behaviours and development stages through the Tuckman framework, practicing effective communication and conflict resolution techniques, facilitating decision-making and appropriate delegation, evaluating team effectiveness and implementing continuous improvement strategies

Minimum Entry Requirement
Participants are required to have the ability to converse, read and write in English. Minimum Lower Secondary Education or WPLN Level 3 and above.
