The objective of WSQ Volunteer Programme Management (SSC-CFC-4047-1.1) is to enable candidates to develop volunteer programmes and management strategies to build support and commitment within the work team
What You'll Learn
LO1 Adopt the best practices in volunteer management to develop volunteer management strategies, policies and procedures in consultation with the management to meet the strategic goals of the organisation.
LO2 Develop a Volunteer Management Programme to deploy, orientate and train volunteers to achieve organizational goals with minimal risks.
LO3 Develop a feasible Volunteer Leadership Framework and pathways to identify and train volunteer leaders to lead community initiatives and activities.
Minimum Entry Requirement
The required skills and knowledge for this course are as follows:
- Minimum GCE A' Level / Diploma and/or able to read, write, listen and speak of English to a proficiency level equivalent to Employability Skills System Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 5; and count to a proficiency level equivalent to Employability Skills System Workplace Numeracy (WPN) Level 5
- Able to operate a personal desktop computer / laptop with Level 2 basic computing and applications skills
- Be motivated to learn and have positive attitude towards work and commitments.
- Have interest in community and social works.
