The course aims to equip students with the concepts and practice of design as a communication language and creative ideation to establish an innovative experience with integration of various contemporary and new media, with emphasis on sensorial media channels in communication design.
What You'll Learn
The Diploma in Design (Visual Communication) (DDVC) was launched in October 2018 under the Continuing Education and Training (CET) framework.
This diploma course provides an additional opportunity for ITE graduates and other working adults without any tertiary qualification to upgrade themselves academically in the field of Brand Design, Packaging Design, Web Design and Advertising.
Minimum Entry Requirement
Applicants with any of the following qualifications are invited to apply for the Part-Time diploma:
a) The following GCE 'O' Level grades and with at least 1 year of relevant working experience:
English Language Grade 1 "“ 6
Mathematics (Elementary or Additional) Grade 1 "“ 7
Any One other subject excluding CCA Grade 1 "“ 6
b) Nitec with GPA >= 3.5 " ̈" ̈or
c) Nitec with GPA >= 3.0 and at least 1 year of relevant working experience or
d) Nitec in Technology/Services with GPA >= 3.5 and at least 1 year of relevant working experience or
e) Higher Nitec with GPA >=2.0or

g) Higher Nitec in Technology/Services with GPA >=2.0 and at least 1 year of relevant working experience or
