Supply Chain Management – Part of Modular Certificate in Materials Management (db9sc)

The course is designed for any learner who is keen to:

• acquire working knowledge on international purchasing, distribution and transportation;
• apply knowledge, techniques and skills learned to manage international logistics operations;
• adopt an integrated solutions approach to manage supply chain;
• develop critical core skills, particularly creative thinking, self-management and influence which are essential for supporting business transformation; and

What You'll Learn

Learners are introduced to the critical concerns involved in the design, control, operation and management of supply chain systems. Various models and tools developed for supply chain management will also be covered. Students are taught simple techniques that can be used to analyse various aspects of the supply chain.

Minimum Entry Requirement

● 3 relevant GCE 'O' Level passes and at least 1-year of relevant work experience; or

● NITEC with GPA ≥ 3.5 or GPA ≥ 3.0 and at 1-year of relevant work experience; or

● Higher NITEC with GPA of ≥ 2.0 or GPA ≥ 1.5 and at least 1-year relevant work experience; or

● NITEC in Technology or Services with GPA ≥ 3.5 and at least 1-year relevant work experience; or

● Higher NITEC in Technology or Services with GPA ≥ 2.0 and at least 1-year relevant work experience; or

● Relevant WSQ Diploma qualifications (or higher) and Level 6 WSQ Workplace Literacy SOA and Workplace Numeracy SOA and 1-year relevant work experience; or

At least 2 years relevant work experience.
