Renal Supportive Care Course (classroom & Asynchronous)

The course will cover the following,

• symptom control in advanced chronic kidney disease (CKD) in patients
• care of the dying patient with advanced CKD
• role of supportive care in advanced CKD
• geriatric syndromes (e.g., frailty, Dementia) in CKD
• serious illness communication in advanced CKD
• shared decision making with advanced CKD patients and their families
• Anxiety and depression in advanced CKD patients
• Ethical considerations in treatment decisions

What You'll Learn

This is the first and only interprofessional course in Singapore targeted at all healthcare professionals working with patients with advanced chronic kidney disease (CKD) and their families.

Minimum Entry Requirement

Participant must be a qualified healthcare professional, .e.g. doctor, nurse, therapist, pharmacist, renal coordinator or social worker.
