Quality Management

This module covers productivity and quality management-related issues such as the development of Quality Systems, TQM, PDCA, Quality Circles, Singapore Quality Awards, 5S Housekeeping and the ISO9000 Quality Management System.

What You'll Learn

This module is part of "Certificate in Quality Management", which trains participants in statistical methods and tools to carry out quality improvement activities. Participants will also gain broad knowledge in quality management and be trained in quality engineering methods.

Minimum Entry Requirement

3 GCE 'O' level with English language (grade 1-7), Science (grade 1-6) and 1 relevant subject (grade 1-6) – 1 years of relevant working experience

Higher NITEC (GPA 2.0 and above) or (GPA 1.5 and above and 1 years of relevant working experience)

NITEC (GPA 3.5 and above) or (GPA 3.0 and above and 1 year of relevant working experience)

Higher NITEC in Technology/Services (GPA 2.0 and above and 1 year of relevant working experience)

NITEC in Technology/Services (GPA 3.5 and above and 1 year of relevant working experience)

Relevant WSQ Advanced Certificate (or higher) AND at least 1 year relevant work experience AND Level 6 WSQ Workplace Literacy SOA and Workplace Numeracy SOA

For applicants who do not meet the MER, the polytechnics will consider discretionary entry based on the structured process for discretionary entry to CET diploma programmes.
