This course is only for the low wage workers in the PWM-Retail Sector.
At the end of the course, participants will:
- understand what productivity is and the components of productivity
- be able to identify areas where unproductivity occurs
- be able to use tools to overcome team productivity issues
- put in place KPIs to track productivity performances
- have a process of review to sustain productivity
What You'll Learn
The course helps participants answer the question, "How do I manage my team for better results?"
It aims to introduce participants to the concept of productivity at work. Participants will gain insights on how they can adopt productivity concepts and tools to improve team performance. At the end of the course, participants will be able to identify team performance issues and make recommendations to overcome the issues.
This course covers the following topics:
- Concept of Productivity
- Methods of data collection
- Importance of productivity
- Productive teams
- Work place productivity
- Productivity measurement
Minimum Entry Requirement
- GCE 'O' level Credit (at least C6) in English and Mathematics or Workplace Literacy and Numeracy (WPLN) score: Level 5 for Reading, Listening and Numeracy; and
- With at least 2 years supervisory working experience in retail or 3 years supervisory/managerial working experience in non-retail sector.
