This course is only for the low wage workers in the PWM-Cleaning Sector.

Equip learners with the knowledge on

• Types and characteristics of amenities in public residential estates
• Methods and procedures to clean different types of amenities in public residential estates
• Safety and health considerations when cleaning different types of amenities in public residential estates

What You'll Learn

This course will train learners on the proper methods and procedures to clean amenities in public residential developments. These amenities include drains, gullies, floor traps, lift landings, lift cars and turfed areas. Attention will be paid to safety and health aspects when performing such tasks.

Minimum Entry Requirement

Required years of relevant experience: Nil "“ This is an entry level course that is targeted at new entrants, including mid-career changers, to the cleaning industry.

Age of learners: likely to be between 18 to 70

Gender: no preference

Physical fitness of learners:

• able to stand and walk for long periods
• no serious speech impediment

The following entry requirements are preferred, not mandatory:

• Develop reading, listening and speaking of English to a proficiency level equivalent to the Employability Skills System (ESS) Literacy Level 1
• Develop numeracy skills to a proficiency level equivalent to the Employability Skills System (ESS) Numeracy Level 1
