Pwm-Cleaning: Horizontal Surface Maintenance- Cleaning of Hard Floor (aop)

This course is only for the low wage workers in the PWM-Cleaning Sector.

This AOP will assess the trainees on their knowledge and skills on how to:

• Prepare to clean hard floor with the correct tools and cleaning agents
• Perform cleaning of hard floor surface using the appropriate methods and techniques
• Reinstate work area

What You'll Learn

This course is assessment only (No training), and is designed specifically for cleaning stewards who are already working or have at least 3 months experience in the environmental services industry.

It assesses these workers on their competency in performing the basic cleaning of hard floor surfaces and carpets.

Minimum Entry Requirement

• Minimum 3 months experience in the environmental cleaning industry
• Have undergone job orientation to learn about work roles, responsibilities, limitations, and basic cleaning of hard floor
• Be able to read, listen and speak English to a proficiency level equivalent to Employability Skills System (ESS) Literacy Level 1
• Possess numeracy skills to a proficiency level equivalent to Employability Skills System (ESS) Numeracy Level 1
• Companies must ensure that participants have at least 3 months working experience in the environmental cleaning industry. A letter of declaration must be submitted for participants who have less than the required experience.
• Participants will also be briefed on how to complete the self-assessment checklist, and to ensure that he/she understand the requirements and expectations of performing cleaning of hard floor surfaces.
