What You'll Learn
This course allows the real estate investor to understand the conservation of value principle, and how capital structure creates value. This is followed by an in-depth analysis on Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs). Participants will also understand the key concepts of Singapore REITs through a practical case study.
Real estate capital comes from 2 sources: debt lenders and equity investors. Lenders are primarily concerned about loss of loan principal & non-payment of debt service. Equity investors are motivated by cash flow, value appreciation, and the benefits of tax shelter.
