The Specialist Diploma in Semiconductor Manufacturing (SDSM) aims to equip participants with specialised knowledge and skills in the following core areas of semiconductor manufacturing:
- Integrated Circuit (IC) Design
- Process Integration
- Product Yield Engineering
- IC Packaging
- Reliability and Failure Analysis
- Quality Assurance
Minimum Entry Requirement
- Applicants should possess a relevant (Engineering or Science) local polytechnic Diploma, ITE Technical Diploma / Technical Engineer Diploma / Work-Study Technical Diploma or Degree.
- Applicants who do not meet the entry requirements may be considered for admission to the course based on evidence of at least 5 years of relevant working experience or supporting evidence of competency readiness. Suitable applicants who are shortlisted will have to go through an interview and/or entrance test. The Polytechnic reserves the right to shortlist and admit applicants.
- Conditional Offer
Graduating students (in final semester) from a local polytechnic or Institute of Technical Education (ITE) may apply for the programme.
