Post-Diploma Certificate in Applied Data Science (part of Specialist Diploma in Business Analytics & Data Science)

The Post-Diploma Certificate in Applied Data Science (PDC2) is part of Specialist Diploma in Business Analytics & Data Science and consists of 150 hours of training.

This PDC consists of the following modules:

M5: Data Science for Business (45 hours)

M6: Text Analytics & Applications (30 hours)

M7: Applied Deep Learning (45 hours)

M8: Applied Data Science Project (30 hours)

What You'll Learn

The Post-Diploma Certificate in Applied Data Science focus on skills to preprocess textual data, implement advanced machine learning algorithms, and evaluate model performance for various business applications.

Minimum Entry Requirement

Applicants who meet any of the following requirements will be considered for admission:

• A degree (or higher), preferably in IT, Business, Engineering or Mathematics
• A diploma from local polytechnic in IT, Business or Engineering with minimum 2 year(s) of working experience in ICT or related field.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

Applicants who do not meet the entry requirements may be considered for admission to the course based on:

• Evidence of at least 5 years of relevant working experience; or
• Supporting evidence of competency readiness.

Suitable applicants who are shortlisted may have to go through an interview and/or proficiency test. The Polytechnic reserves the right to shortlist and admit applicants.
