What You'll Learn
This course first starts with the background to and its importance of Personal Effectiveness in life and at work, and the introduction of the I.T.E.M.S (Individual and Team Effectiveness Management Skills) as a framework for Personal Effective Skills. It continues by applying the principles of the framework to upskilling one's Personal Effectiveness in a 3-prong approach: for Self-guiding, as a Team Manager and as a Leader, where the subtle differences between the latter two roles will be touched upon. Effective team-handling in communication, motivation, identification and addressing of personal, independent and interdependent skill development needs for them to enhance team capability as a whole will be shared throughout the course. During the training, learners will also go through 2 profiling assessments "“ one on discovering one's level of Adversity Quotient in Resilience and the other on Leadership Type and team-management tendency in work situations for more focused self-discovery. Lastly, Trainer will conclude the course programme by going through the 'I.T.E.M.S (Individual and Team Effectiveness Management Skills) Step-By-Step Total Checklist' with case-studies and role-playing for enhanced learning.
Minimum Entry Requirement
- 21 years and above
- Possess minimally a Secondary Level and/or listen, speak, read, and write English at a proficiency level equivalent to Employability Skills System Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 4
- Use numeracy skills equivalent to the Employability Skills System Workplace Numeracy (WPN) Level 4
- Minimum 1 month of working experience
