This Modular Certificate in System & Network Administration (MC2 of Diploma in Infocomm & Digital Media (IT Network & System Administration))-DINSA2 aims to train the learners on the following:
- Implement a small network and develop skills on how to troubleshoot network issues, apply security hardening in network devices.
- Design and implement a switched network. Configure a switch with functionalities such as virtual LANs implementation, basic switch security and inter-VLAN in a converged network.
- Implement essential operating system services needed for an enterprise system, management of file systems, system security / recovery, network directory services and software deployment.
- Propose solutions to improve IT operations with reference to IT service management methodologies. Acquire knowledge on the functions and processes in Service Strategy, Design, and Transition.
- Apply their knowledge and skills in IT service management as well as the administration of IT networks and computer servers. Setup functional network to support system administrative functions.

Minimum Entry Requirement
The admission requirements for CET Diploma In Infocomm & Digital Media (IT Network And System Administration) are:
- GCE 'O' level with minimum of 3 relevant passes and at least 1 year of relevant working experience; or
- Nitec with GPA ≥ 3.5; or
- Nitec GPA ≥ 3.0 and at least 1 year of relevant working experience; or
- Higher Nitec with GPA ≥ 2.0, or
- Higher Nitec GPA ≥ 1.5 and at least with 1 year of relevant work experience; or
- Nitec in Technology with GPA ≥ 3.5 and at least 1 year of relevant working experience; or
- Higher Nitec in Technology with GPA ≥ 2.0 and at least 1 year of relevant working experience; or
- Relevant WSQ Advanced Certificate (or higher), and at least 1 year of relevant working experience and Workplace Literary & Numeracy (WPLN) at Level ≥ 6; or
- At least 2 years relevant working experience (subject to interview/assessment).
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL): Applicants who do not meet the entry requirements may be considered.
