The learning units are sequenced in a 'Simple-to-Complex' approach starting with LU1: Project manpower requirements which covers topics relating to having discussion with security teams to communicate clients' business objectives to ensure common understanding. After having the discussion, LU2: Evaluate candidates covers topics relating to the roles and functions of emergency response teams. After identifying the roles and functions of emergency response teams, LU3: Employ staff covers topics relating to monitoring deployment schedules and adjust manpower allocation dynamically. Learners will next learn to apply the knowledge and skills to effectively manage security agency within the legal framework and transfer the learning acquired to their workplace, which includes:

Minimum Entry Requirement
Learners should meet the basic entry requirements as indicated below:
- Ability to read, write, speak, and listen to English at WPL Level 5.
- Ability to manipulate numbers at WPN Level 5.
- Education: Minimum GCE N pass in English or equivalent
- Age: 21 and above
- Experience in Security Industry: At least 3 years working as a Senior Security Officers
- At the TP Admin/ Registration Counter:
- A checklist to be provided to Admin to ensure the learner requirements (above) are met
- To make recommendations on suitable courses if the applicant does not meet the entry criteria
- Verification of authenticity can be done via checking on certificates
