Introduction to Web Development Using Java and Spring Boot (classroom, Synchronous and Asynchronous E-Learning)

Junior Fullstack Developers (JFD) are entry-level developers that work in tech-based startups, mid to large-sized software development companies, and consultancy firms, among others. This course provides relevant training for the JFD role. JFDs spend the majority of their time analysing user requirements, designing solutions, supporting the implementation of these solutions and supporting regular updates to existing applications. Key skills which learners will acquire in this programme include testing and finalising solutions, fixing errors, supporting security provisions in software, and communicating with internal and external stakeholders.

What You'll Learn

This course focuses on Java and Spring Boot for web development. Concepts which will be examined include dependencies injection using spring framework, Spring Data JPA, REST API with Spring Boot. Learners will also learn how to secure API using JWT, find out more about unit testing web components, and spend some time on the building and deployment of web applications.
