Introduction to Developer Role (classroom, Synchronous and Asynchronous E-Learning)

Junior Fullstack Developers (JFD) are entry-level developers that work in tech-based startups, mid to large-sized software development companies, and consultancy firms, among others. This course provides relevant training for the JFD role. JFDs spend the majority of their time analysing user requirements, designing solutions, supporting the implementation of these solutions and supporting regular updates to existing applications. Key skills which learners will acquire in this programme include testing and finalising solutions, fixing errors, supporting security provisions in software, and communicating with internal and external stakeholders.

What You'll Learn

This is an introduction to the Junior Fullstack Developer (JFD) role. It will explain the concept of software development, and strategies which enable a JFD to stay current and up-to-date with the technologies in the industry. There will also be sessions on effective communication and collaboration as well as problem solving at the workplace. Finally, learners will get familiar with the project management cycle of software development.
