The purpose of this 2-day training is to provide participants with a foundation for exploring and executing some cyber security best practices in industrial control systems (ICS) especially in the water sector amid understanding cyber security operational issues.
The technical hands-on and discussion introduce starting concepts about ICS, its related security and their intersection in an operational setting.

Participants will build understanding on the following:
- Learn the fundamental about industrial control systems (ICS)
- Learn the cyber security issues and operational challenges of ICS
- Learn network segmentation and security of ICS to better protect the infrastructure
- Build understanding on Identification, Authentication, Authorization, and Accountability (IAAA) to better mitigate against a broad spectrum of risks
- Learn the cornerstones of cyber security through the importance concepts of confidentiality, integrity and availability
- Understand some ICS attack vectors to better identify cyber security symptoms against regular engineering faults
- Learn incident responses and how it could be adopted for operational uses
- Build understanding on some products to better protect ICS
