Hazmat Transport Driver Permit (htdp) Course

This course is designed to train drivers, cargo assistants and other interested persons in any company who are involved in the transportation and handling of hazardous materials. At the end of the course, participants will be able to explain the 9 classes of hazardous materials and their identification, explain the purpose and legislation requirements on the transport of hazardous materials, explain the roles and responsibilites of drivers in an emergency and explain the basic principles on the chemistry of fire and be able to operate a fire extinguisher effectively.
