At the end of the course, the learners will be able to do the following:

LU4: Operate access control equipment.

LU5. Operate alarm monitoring equipment.

LU6. Operate CCTV monitoring equipment.

LU7. Report off duty.

What You'll Learn

Apply appropriate procedures for guard and patrol activities and manage access points of entry for different levels of authorized entries using access control equipment.

Minimum Entry Requirement

The assumed skills and knowledge for this unit are as follows:

• Ability to read, write, speak and listen to English at WPL Level 4.
• Ability to manipulate numbers at WPN Level 4.
• Education: Minimum Secondary 2 education.
• Age: 18 and above
• Experience in Security Industry: NA
• To fulfil PLRD (Police Licensing & Regulatory Department) licensing requirements for a full fledge qualified Security Officer.
