LO1: Develop software design blueprint based on design concept that meet business and user requirements.
LO2: Recommend appropriate design standards, methods, and tools for the design of software based on the Pros and Cons that align with the organisation's practices and design principles.
LO3: Design appropriate functional specifications of software systems to address organization and user needs.
LO4: Analyse a set of design elements, and evaluate the trade-offs between them in terms of their impact on the overall functionality, interoperability, efficiency, and costs of the software.
LO5: Produce the necessary design documentation and review them for accuracy.
What You'll Learn
Create and refine the overall plan for the design of software, including the design of functional specifications starting from the defined business requirements as well as the consideration and incorporation of various controls, functionality and interoperability of different elements into a design blueprint or model which describes the overall architecture in hardware, software, databases, and third party frameworks that the software will use or interact with
