LO1:Design and test the Palo Alto Networks Next Generation Firewall capabilities and network devices (routers, switches) configurations in a secure network
LO2:Debug the network traffic and endpoint operating systems
LO3:Address network security deficiencies by making recommendations to management
LO4:Implement tighter security measures on network application with security policies according to organization's security requirements
LO5:Identify and inspect network traffic with VPN and bandwidth management for vulnerability and threats entering and leaving a secure network
LO6:Document security incidents, intrusions and attempts by reviewing fire-wall logs and audit reports
What You'll Learn
Successful completion enhances participants' understanding of how to configure and manage Palo Alto Networks Next-Generation Firewalls. The course includes hands-on experience configuring, managing, and monitoring a firewall in a lab environment.
Minimum Entry Requirement
Participants with a min of Diploma from ITE or Polytechnic is recommended.
Participants must have a basic familiarity with networking concepts including routing, switching, and IP addressing.
Students also should be familiar with basic security concepts.
Experience with other security technologies (IPS, proxy, and content filtering) is a plus.
