Face Recognition in Action – Synchronous Elearning

This module covers how face recognition works, how deep learning has enabled highly accurate facial recognition system and how one can start developing face recognition applications using open source libraries. Demonstrations on how face recognition is applied in industries such as education, public safety, finance and retail will be conducted and participants will have hands-on experience in using popular open source libraries. At the end of the course, the participants will be able to understand how face recognition works and how to apply face recognition to applications. The participants will also have a better understanding on the challenges of face recognition in large scale deployment.
