This course provides a foundational overview of the governance process that shapes executive compensation and the components of executive pay packages, including base salary, short- and long-term performance incentives, benefits and perquisites, and a variety of contingent payments that can be included in compensation contracts. In this course, you will evaluate the context in which executive compensation plans are designed and implemented, assess the priorities and influence of constituent parties, and analyze executive compensation tools. The course content focuses on publicly traded, United States-based, Fortune 500 corporations. The course is provided by eCornell in partnership with Genashtim.
