This course is suitable for frontline, supervisory and managerial staff who are interested to learn how to apply Design Thinking at their workplace.
What You'll Learn
- Participants will be introduced to relevant concepts in design thinking and business strategy, and why a human-centered approach is beneficial for business strategy formulation.
- Participants will learn different tools and methods to understand stakeholders with a view to gleaning actionable insights.
- Participants will learn how to use more creative and visual ways to identify and frame key questions that arise from the stakeholder analysis and understanding.
- Participants will learn to generate ideas creatively rather than restrictively using Design Thinking tools and approaches.
- Participant will learn to turn ideas into prototypes for testing and feedback from stakeholders to increase the chances of success.
Minimum Entry Requirement
- Able to understand and speak English at a proficiency level equivalent to the Employment Skills System Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 4.
- Applicants should ideally possess at least a GCE 'N' Level qualification or its equivalent. However, those with relevant work experience may also be considered on a case-by-case basis.
