Certificate in Environmental Services (classroom and Asynchronous)

The objective of the course is to encourage workers in the environmental services sector to attain as WSQ full qualifications in Environmental Services. This group qualification consisting of five modules is to equip them with comprehensive and a robust set of skills to perform their job competently be technically qualified and professional. Singapore's environmental cleaning sector is a vibrant one besides assuming the responsibility of cleaning up the country, offers the learner who is keen to embark on an environmental cleaning career, the opportunity to pursue career progression and explore new job opportunities to Team leader and eventually supervisory level.

What You'll Learn

Focus Learning offers the 5 modules at Level One which gives a good grounding for skills development and professionalism. Undergoing this program will increase productivity and offer an opportunity for learners to enter this growing industry.

The 5 modules are Workplace Safety and Health Practices Implementation, Customer Management, Horizontal Surface Maintenance, Washroom Maintenance, and Furniture and Furnishing Maintenance.

Minimum Entry Requirement

Applicants should preferably:

a) be between 18 to 65 years of age

b) Able to speak, listen and read English at a proficiency level equivalent to Employability Skills Workforce Skills Qualification Workplace Literacy Level (WPL) 1.

c) Secondary or lower education even no formal education

d) Minimum 3 months of relevant work experience

Learner suitability would be ascertained upon registration where ATO would screen through before accepting the learner for the course.
