The aims of the course are as follow;
- To provision the Skills Future initiative by supporting pragmatic education and provide continual academic and career progression pathways for ITE students after graduation.
- To provide participants with the knowledge and skills essential to take on the job responsibilities in the Aerospace industry.
What You'll Learn
This course will aim to provide qualified trainees/students can enrol for the academic track in Diploma in Engineering (Aerospace), DEAR. Trainees/Students will have to complete five (5) MCs with a duration of thirty (30) months.
Minimum Entry Requirement
- At least 3 'O' Level passes in the following subjects:
English Language (EL1 or EL2) Grade 1-7.
Any mathematics subject Grade 1-6
Any science subject Grade 1-6
- And 1 year of relevant working experience.
- GPA ≥ 2.0 OR
- GPA ≥ 1.5 and 1 year of relevant experience OR
- GPA ≥ 3.5 OR
- GPA ≥ 3.0 and 1 year of relevant experience OR
- Relevant WSQ Qualification with 1 year of relevant working experience and WSQ Workplace Literary Statement of Attainment (SOA) (Level 5) AND Workplace Numeracy Statement of Attainment (SOA) (Level 6)
- At least five (5) years of relevant experience
Trainees/Students will be subjected to an entry assessment/interview if they do not meet the above minimum entry requirement.
