The overall objective of the course is for participants to experience how data and innovation-driven approaches can transform compliance into a competitive advantage. This module will focus on opportunities and challenges with respect to blockchain, distributed ledger technology (DLT), data privacy, secure data sharing, and privacy-preserving analytics / machine learning.
What You'll Learn
At the end of the 2-day course, participants will:
â–a Have a solid understanding of the opportunities and challenges coming with DLT-based regulatory solutions;
â–a Be familiar with how blockchain/ DLT-based approaches could potentially transform KYC, identity verification and onboarding solutions;
â–a Be able to articulate how cybersecurity has emerged as a critical component of regulatory technologies;
â–a Be familiar with current and emerging data privacy frameworks (and their underlying technologies);
â–a Have a solid understanding of how privacy-preserving approaches for data sharing, data analytics and machine learning can be used to enable a variety of (collaborative) RegTech use cases;
â–a Have insights into who is currently adopting and driving financial technology innovation.
Minimum Entry Requirement
Participants should preferably have completed Module 3 of the certificate programme.
