On completion of this course, learners will acquire the knowledge, skills and attitude required of a WSH Coordinator to coordinate the formulation, implementation and management review of a WSH policy within an organisation.
What You'll Learn
PS 1 – Identify and collect relevant organisational information to formulate a WSH policy in accordance with WSH management system standards
PS 2 – Facilitate the implementation of WSH policy in accordance with the organisational procedures and relevant legal requirements
PS 3 – Coordinate the management review of WSH policy
PS 4 – Monitor the progress of WSH management programmes in meeting the determined WSH objectives
PS 5 – Track closure of recommended actions arising from management review for continual improvement
Minimum Entry Requirement
Assumed skills and knowledge:
- ES workplace Literacy and Numeracy Level 5 or GCE "N" Level English grade 5 & mathematics grade 5 AND
- Possess WSH skills and knowledge equivalent to that of certificate in WSH with at least 1 year of WSH relevant working experience.
Participants must produce the company letter stating their working experience.
Attendance requirement: 75% for classroom sessions
