The Learning Journey comprises of each visit an infant toddler care setting, a nursery setting and a community agency providing special needs services. These visits provide opportunities to observe and reflect on the environment practices and settings, and special needs services.
What You'll Learn
At the end of the Learning Journey, students should be able to:
a. Demonstrate the ability to observe and reflect on the environments set up with reference to the key components of the EYDF.
b. Demonstrate the ability to observe and reflect on the practices of the centre and experiences provided with reference to the key components of the EYDF.
c. Demonstrate the ability to reflect on the special needs services provided in the community.
d. Develop the ability to develop a portfolio which includes documentation of reflections, photographs and anecdotes.
Minimum Entry Requirement
Applicants should have:
a. Minimum Secondary 4 education* or completed 10 years of formal education* and
b. At least an average SOA in the WPL series, including an SOA 5 for WPL-Writing
- Official documents are required to show completion of 10 years of education. Medium of instruction is to be in English.
