In today's business landscape, data has become ubiquitous, and accountants and auditors must be able to extract meaningful insights and patterns from data to improve organisational performance, decision-making, and customer/client/supplier satisfaction.
This course focuses on the practical application of data analytics in accounting and audit using a risk-based methodology. Participants will learn how to use data analytics tools and techniques, including Microsoft Excel and IDEA (Interactive Data Extraction and Analysis), a widely adopted audit data analysis software. Participants will also have the opportunity to develop their skills in data visualisation using software such as Tableau, enabling them to effectively communicate results to stakeholders.
This course is designed to equip participants with critical knowledge, skills, and attitudes that are essential in today's rapidly changing regulatory and technological environment.
