Nanyuki Vocational Training Center

Nanyuki Vocational Training Center is a technical and vocational education and training institution located in Nanyuki town, Laikipia County, Kenya. The center provides practical skills training and competency-based education designed to equip youth and adults with marketable technical abilities for employment and self-employment opportunities. Situated in the central highlands region, the institution serves communities across Laikipia County and neighboring areas, offering programs in various trades including construction, automotive technology, electrical installation, welding, plumbing, and information communication technology. As part of Kenya’s TVET system, Nanyuki Vocational Training Center contributes to the national goal of developing a skilled workforce to support the country’s industrialization and economic growth agenda. The center operates under the guidelines of the Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority and prepares trainees for national certification examinations administered by the Kenya National Examinations Council.
