By the end of the course, learners will be able to:

• LO3: Apply communication skills to interact with families in need (A2, K4)
• LO4: Provide information relating to social services and support for families in need (A3, K5)
• LO5: Apply code of ethics when working with families in need (K6)

What You'll Learn

This unit covers identifying needs and concerns of families, applying communication skills to interact with families in need as well as providing basic information relating to social services and support for families in need.

Minimum Entry Requirement

Grade of C6 for GCE 'O' level English (or equivalent) or English proficiency at Employability Skills System (ESS) Literacy Level 5
