Specialty Organ Transplant Nursing I is a specialised nursing care that focused on protection, promotion and optimization of the health and abilities of both the transplant recipients and the living donors across the life span. This care includes prevention, detection and treatment of illness and injury related to diseases treated by solid organ transplantation, and disease that may result from living donor donation in individuals, families, communities and population of all ages.

What You'll Learn

This practicum module is structured to allow learners to integrate and consolidate learned concepts to clinical care planning and implementation for transplant patients. The exposures to the transplant unit environment and management of transplant cases shall facilitate transferring of theory to practice.
